Clinical Movement & Mobilization
This approach is designed for people dealing with restricted movement, sports-related issues, muscular tension, or a body that simply isn't moving the way it should.
Your session is performed primarily clothed and may incorporate assisted stretching, compression, vibration, positional techniques, joint mobilization, and other movement-based methods. Rather than following a predetermined sequence, I assess what you're presenting with and choose the techniques that make the most sense for your particular situation.
This is focused, purposeful bodywork designed to improve mobility, reduce muscular restriction, and help you move more comfortably and effectively.
You don't need to know which technique you need. That's my job.

Targeted Manual Bodywork
Some problems require more direct access to the muscles and connective tissues. This approach allows me to work with those tissues directly through hands-on techniques such as myofascial work, focused soft-tissue work, trigger point techniques, and deeper manual treatment.
Depending on what you're experiencing and what I find during the session, I may also incorporate tools and techniques such as heated scraping instruments or cupping when appropriate.
This session is performed with professional draping and is tailored to the areas and tissues that need the most attention. My goal isn't simply to provide a “deep” massage, but to use the appropriate amount of pressure, technique, and approach based on what your body needs.
With 16 years of hands-on experience, I've learned that effective bodywork isn't about using the most aggressive technique available. It's about knowing what to work on, how to work on it, and when to change course.
You don't have to know what techniques you need, that's my job!
